Christian Education Department Diploma in Children’s and Teen’s Ministries
Purpose of the program
This two-year non-residential program is designed to provide the student with the biblical and theological education, as well as the practical skills necessary to prepare them to minister in the area of Christian education.
Goals of Program
In addition to the general expectations of the seminary, students who graduate with a Diploma in Christian Education should possess the following abilities.
The graduate is expected to possess an understanding of the various types of Christian ministry. The graduate is expected to possess an understanding and ability to apply the principles of age-appropriate Bible teaching. Finally, the graduate is expected to understand and apply principles of administration and design to church-based education.
