Church Ministry Department Bachelor of Pastoral Ministry
Purpose of the Program
This four-year non-residential program is designed to provide practicing pastors with the biblical and theological education, as well as the practical skills, necessary to better equip them for the work of service. It provides a bachelor level education to those who already possess a basic level of biblical and theological education.
Goals of the Program
In addition to the general expectations of the seminary, students who graduate with a Bachelor of Pastoral Ministry should possess to following abilities.
Each graduate is expected to possess personal pastoral qualities as described in I Timothy 3 and Titus.
Each graduate is expected to possess the ability to use various resources and methodology to independently study the Bible.
Each graduate is expected to possess the ability to develop their own preaching and teaching skills as well as other skills necessary for a pastoral ministry.
