Academic Programs
All the departments at Odessa Theological Seminary work together to produce graduates who are biblical in academics, skilled in ministry and Christ-like in character.
All students and graduates are expected to possess the following character traits.
Each student is expected to have a deep and personal relationship with the Lord that is based on love. From this loving relationship the student draws his/her desire to serve the Lord and others.
Each student is expected to demonstrate competent ability to correctly understand and teach the truths of Scripture.
Each student is expected to demonstrate competent ability to correctly understand and teach sound theology in there are of specialized study.
The General Admission Requirements area as follows:
Each student must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma, be an active member of a church for at least one year, exhibit objective evidence of academic abilities, and agree to the Seminary's Statement of Faith. They must also submit an official application including references, be formally interviewed and pass the entrance exam for their program. It is understood that students are accepted based on their ability and the availability of space.

Terms of Studying
Residential programs
The Bachelor of Theology is a three-year program.
The Bachelor of Christian Education is a three-year program.
Non – residential programs
The Bachelor of Pastoral Ministries is a four-year program which meets for two week sessions five times a year.
The Bachelor of Christian Education is a three-year program which meets for two week sessions three times a year.
The Diploma in Preaching and the Diploma in Children’s and Teen’s Ministries are two-year programs which meet for three day sessions ten times a year.
The Diploma in Church Music is a three-year program which meets for three day sessions ten times a year.
Certificate in Church Music is a two–year program which meets for three day sessions ten times a year.
